Gerry Burnett

Gerry is a fifth generation Washingtonian, born and raised in DC. Gerry is a very successful realtor and owns several properties in the area. He is looking forward to continuing his education within the Pivot Program and improving his technological literacy. Gerry has been self-employed his entire life and wishes to leverage Pivot’s network and support to launch his own business. Gerry hopes to start a nonprofit for family education within his community to fill gaps he identifies in America’s current education system. 

In his free time, Gerry enjoys fishing, cooking, sparring, and training others in self-defense. He has taken martial arts for 10 years and has competed competitively in a kickboxing tournament. Gerry dreams of one day opening his own eatery, which would most likely be a fried fish and chicken restaurant.
