After completing their intensive academic coursework, the Pivot Fellows begin internships with D.C. companies and nonprofits, where they gain meaningful work experience, build their professional networks, and explore options for full-time employment after graduation.
At the same time, Pivot intern hosts gain highly qualified and committed interns and have a chance to explore how second chance hiring may fit into their organization and workplace.

Pivot Fellows are also provided with laptops and are able to work either on site or remotely for employers with teleworking practices.
If you are interested in partnering with the Pivot Program as an intern host or with questions, please contact Pivot Executive Director Alyssa Lovegrove at alyssa.lovegrove@georgetown.edu.
