What’s your favorite part of Pivot?

My favorite part of Pivot is the opportunities and the skills I’ve learned so far.

What’s been your favorite class?

Professor Comer’s finance class because it made me realize how much I’ve been splurging unnecessarily. I don’t think I would have thought about it until I learned his perspective.

What are you doing in your internship?

I’m interning at Astro and Bearing Donuts. Right now, I’m working at a donut shop, mostly handling cash and making food and sandwiches. I’m looking forward to moving to the restaurant part, where I can start as a bar-back and eventually bartend.

What would you say to people interested in applying to Pivot?

There were times I was frustrated with the process, but for someone coming home who might need some guidance or direction, there is no better program in the DMV area.
