Tony McCright
MEET TONY:
Tony has previous experience as an entrepreneur, and he looks forward to learning more structured approaches to business as part of the Pivot Program. He started and owned an urban clothing boutique called Red Top Fashions from 2007 to 2012 and started TJ’s Trucking, LLC shortly after that. Tony earned a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in 1997, and he has nine years of experience as a sales representative at Deluxe Financial Services. He has always enjoyed the thrill of making a sale, and he ultimately wants to apply that talent to a career in corporate America so he can change the narrative of what a returning citizen can contribute. He is also curious to use his time at the Pivot Program to study and research venture capital in the DC area. Tony is a father of three. He likes to grill, make oven-baked chicken enchiladas, and run 5K races in and around DC.
