Christopher Washington
MEET CHRISTOPHER:
Christopher Washington wants to use his time as a Pivot Fellow to learn more about property management and real estate. He completed a construction management studies program at Westwood College in 2011 and took courses in business management from Virginia State University in 2001. He worked as a drywall technician for two years, and was also a loan officer for Mortgage Unlimited in DC in 2004. Christopher became involved with the Free Minds Book Club and Writing Workshop several years ago, and he has relished the thoughtful discussions that the book club generates around social justice, religion, finances, and access to knowledge. He has written his own book, which he titled The Witness of God a Prophet is Found. He enjoys jogging and working out, and he is a father of three children, ages 22, 19, and 9.
