What brought you to the Pivot Program?

The Pivot Program is transformational, it was like destiny brought me to it. All the tools and resources that I need to prepare myself for my future are right there at my disposal. And because I have access to such a network of friends and resources, it was easy for them to direct me towards this path.

What keeps you motivated?

My greatest motivation outside of my family would probably be my goals, my dreams. And it’s one thing to have goals, but it’s another thing to put them into practice and also be armed with the tools necessary for you to execute those goals.

What’s your main goal for the future?

To be a success. To be a success story, to be a pattern for those that went through what I went through. And I’m trying to accomplish what I’m trying to accomplish and even greater things. So I want to let them know that they can do it. And even when nobody’s there standing in your corner, if you stand on your own ten toes, eventually they’ll get in line with what you’re doing so long as it’s positive.

Who’s your favorite musician?

That’s a difficult question to answer, because music evolves so much nowadays. They seem like everything is a remix, a reboot, a remake. But I’m enjoying the younger generation and all the diversity that they’re bringing to music and all the creativity that they’re bringing to music.
