What brought you to the Pivot Program?

When I got out, I lost everything, I came home to nothing. When I found out about the program, I read into it and figured that I wanted to give it a try.

What keeps you motivated?

The program is bringing the best out of me, things that I didn’t know about myself.

What’s your main goal for the future?

My goal is to one day have a business, not only for myself, but for my kids.

What’s been the best part of Pivot so far?

I’ve never been a part of something that really shows you that they really care about you and don’t care about where you came from or what you did. I love that.

Who’s your favorite musician?

I’m old school, so one of them has to be Luther Vandross. I’m a big Jay-Z fan.
