George Brown, from Chicago, Illinois, has a background in studio mechanics and production work. He has combined his technical expertise with creative pursuits, including music and apparel, to develop a unique skill set that bridges innovation and hands-on craftsmanship.

Before joining the Georgetown University Pivot Program, Brown completed coursework at United Planning Organization and is currently working toward IT certifications, reflecting his commitment to expanding his technical knowledge. He brings to the program a strong sense of organization, problem-solving skills, and a personable approach that enhances collaboration and leadership.

At Pivot, Brown is focused on gaining the practical business knowledge to successfully launch and sustain his own ventures, particularly in customer cultivation and entrepreneurship. He hopes the program will help him to understand the full scope of small business operations, from strategy to execution, while refining the skills needed to grow professionally and personally.

Outside of work, Brown enjoys creating music, playing the piano, guitar, and drums by ear, and watching sports and culinary shows. He values time with his family, particularly his sister and children, and brings the same dedication to his personal passions as he does to his professional goals.
